On Navajo Nation land. Monument Valley is a Navajo Tribal Park, managed by the Navajo Nation. The valley is explored on Navajo-guided tours, and flying over the Tribal Park requires a Navajo Nation permit — Goulding's airstrip access does not include park overflight or entry. Access & Operators

A private PPR airstrip — no scheduled airlines, no FBO.

Monument Valley Airport is a private airstrip with no scheduled commercial service — it exists to bring guests in to Goulding's Lodge and the valley. Landing requires prior permission (PPR) from Goulding's, there's no fuel or control tower on the field, and the single runway is used one-way because of the surrounding terrain. Most visitors arrive by road instead, flying into Page, Flagstaff or a regional airport and driving.
