Hoover Dam Bus Tour

The Hoover Dam is one of the United States’ most significant and fascinating pieces of architecture – and it’s just outside of Las Vegas! This tour takes you from your Strip hotel to the Hoover Dam, where you’ll be guided through the building from top to bottom, with plenty of time to explore on your own.

This incredible tour begins with convenient shuttle transportation provided from your major Las Vegas hotel to our bus depot for check-in. You’ll board a luxury motorcoach for a relaxing 45-minute drive to Hoover Dam. Enjoy the dramatic desert scenery that surrounds the Las Vegas area from the comfort of your air-conditioned vehicle, complete with multilingual headset narration for each passenger. The VIP Interior Tour is an extraordinary guided Hoover Dam tour that allows access into the depths of the building’s infrastructure. Your guide will explain in detail how the dam uses millions of gallons of water to produce electricity to not just Nevada, but Arizona and California as well. You will also hear stories about the incredible people who made this engineering feat possible back in 1931.

You’ll have time to explore along the top of the dam and experience the awe of the magnificent scenery around you and the feat of human engineering beneath your feet. On one side of the dam you’ll find beautiful views of Lake Mead, and on the other an impressive view of the Colorado River continuing beyond the dam. You will spend about 90 minutes at Hoover Dam, allowing ample time for photos and a chance to explore the Visitor Center. As your tour comes to a conclusion, you will once again board your motorcoach for the return trip to your Las Vegas hotel.
