Flights Between Safford AZ and Phoenix AZ

Grand Canyon Scenic Airlines has ended airline service between Safford Regional Airport and Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport on Sunday, September 14th, 2025 due to the depletion of the MRG funding that supported this service.Passengers with existing reservations will be contacted by Grand Canyon Scenic Airlines' customer service team to begin the refund process.

For nine months, Grand Canyon Scenic Airlines had the honor of transporting members of the city of Safford to and from the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and proudly maintained a 95% on time performance, as well as zero controllable cancellations. Our relationship with the city of Safford remains strong and we look forward to the opportunity to begin flight service once again if funding becomes available through the state of Arizona or a different grant funding source.
