13. Do I need to bring anything?
Bring some form of government issue photo ID such as a driver's license or passport. You will need it to check in, plus you could be asked for identification at any point during your tour. Bring or purchase a small bottle of water - you are in the desert and it's probably drier here than you're used to. Sunscreen is also recommended year-round. These items may be purchased in our gift shop prior to departure. Don't forget your camera, either. You may bring a small satchel or daypack.

15. What should I wear?
Casually and comfortably. Wear a hat and sunglasses. Shoes should be appropriate for walking. These tours are not strenuous, but many walkways are unpaved, therefore slick-soled shoes (most business or "dressy" type shoes) should be avoided. Tennis shoes or sports sandal-type footwear is best. Dress appropriately for the time of year and your tour's destination. Grand Canyon South Rim is about 20 degrees cooler than Las Vegas; Grand Canyon West is a bit warmer than Vegas, and it gets even hotter at the bottom of the canyon. You may want to bring a jacket or rain poncho, maybe even gloves and a scarf if cool weather is called for.

Tour that require special clothing are: Grand Voyager Sturdy shoes are recommended.

16. Things to do at Grand Canyon?
The Grand Canyon offers many activities such as hiking trails, horseback riding, IMAX theatre experience and Colorado River rafting.

17. Why should I book with Scenic Airlines?
Scenic Airlines is world famous for a reason! Check out our "Top 10 Reasons to Book Scenic"

18. How do I book Scenic Airlines?
Booking on Scenic Airlines is easy! Each tour page has a "Book Now" button that will book that exact tour for you.

19. Will Scenic Airlines pick me up at my hotel and drop me off after my tour?
For Las Vegas Grand Canyon tours, Scenic Airlines picks up and drops off at most major hotels on the main part of the Strip, which encompasses the area between the Stratosphere and the Mandalay Bay; we also pick up at most major hotels in the Downtown area. If you're staying on or near the Strip and we do not pick up at your particular hotel, we would attempt to pick you up at hotel closest to where you're staying.

At the South Rim, Scenic Airlines does not provide airport shuttle service as many area hotels are within 10 minutes' driving time. Some hotels in Tusayan offer airport shuttle service. Inside the park, taxi service is available 24 hours a day by prior arrangement. The fare from the park to Grand Canyon National Park Airport is $5/person each way.

20. Where exactly would I get picked up and dropped off in Las Vegas?
Most Las Vegas hotels have what are commonly referred to as "tour lobbies." These are areas designated for the arrival and departure of tour busses, and are usually located somewhat near the main hotel lobby. Locations do vary from hotel to hotel. Your booking agent will specify where you need to meet your bus, or just ask your hotel operator or the front desk. It is a good idea to be 5-10 minutes early for your pick up.

21. Does Scenic Airlines pick up in Henderson or Boulder City?
No. If you are staying in Henderson or Boulder City, you would need to provide your own transportation to Scenic Airlines Terminal. Inquire at your hotel about taxi or shuttle service. If you're staying on the South End of the Strip, you could pick up your tour at the Mandalay Bay, or drive to Scenic Airlines Terminal directly.

22. Does Scenic Airlines pick up in Summerlin?
No. If you are staying in the Summerlin area (Northwest of Las Vegas),
you would need to pick up your tour at the Palace Station.

23. Are these tours appropriate for children and/or seniors?
Yes, all of Scenic Airlines' Grand Canyon tours are family oriented and appropriate for most ages. In general, our tours are not strenuous. The Las Vegas Grand Voyager Tour and the Grand Canyon Colorado River Adventure both involve descending and ascending 3 flights of stairs from the helipad to the river and back, but that's as rigorous as it gets. When considering any of these activities for young children, please be realistic about their attention span, especially on longer tours.

24. Some members of my party don't speak English - what do I do?
Scenic Airlines tours offer automated tour narration in 16 languages. Please specify what language your party speaks when you make your tour reservations.

25. Do I have to pay for my tour when I book it?
Scenic Airlines does charge your credit card in full at the time of booking. However, cancellations made up to 48 hours prior to tour are eligible for a full refund.

26. What do I do if I get there and the weather's bad?
Flights are occasionally cancelled due to inclement weather, such as high winds, low clouds, rain, snow, etc. In the event of such an occurrence, Scenic Airlines will make every reasonable effort to accommodate you, either at a later time, or perhaps another day. If bad weather persists and your tour cannot be rescheduled, you would be eligible for a full refund.

27. Do I need to reconfirm my tour before I go?
Absolutely, this is standard procedure. You must call Scenic Airlines to reconfirm your tour at least 24 hours prior to departure. Call (800) 634-6801 or (702) 638-3300. Ask your hotel front desk or concierge if you need assistance.
